As many of you know this is a very special time of year. The weather is getting colder, it gets dark earlier, and the most important thing is it's DEER HUNTING Season!  This time of year always leaves my family with a lot of memories and stories to tell. We have a lot of funny ones but as I sat down to write tonight a particular one came to my mind and I thought you might enjoy it too. This happened last year and you have to picture where my house is. It is located in the country and there is a woods behind it. Well my son,Dylan, would always take our neighbor his mail and feed his fish that he kept in a pond. The neighbor lives about 1/2 mile down a lane and into  thewooded area. We are always on the look out for deer so we were keeping our eyes open on the way down the lane. On the way back to the our house we spot something on the corner of the woods. Dylan starts getting all excited because there was a nice looking deer right there! He decides to see how close he can get to it, so he gets out of the car and starts off very slowly through the corn field. I  decided I was going to stay in the car and just watch him. I was really amazed by how close Dylan was getting to this deer without it getting spooked. All of the sudden some figure jumps out of the woods, dressed all in camo including camo face paint, waving his arms like a crazy man telling Dylan to stop and go back.  I sat there laughing hysterically as I realized that the hunter had a deer decoy set  up and that's what Dylan was sneaking up on. By the time he got back to the car I couldn't breath from laughing so hard. As I told the story to my husband that night I just kept picturing that hunter coming out of the woods waving his arms and Dylan's face when he seen him! Some things really are priceless.
